16th Sept Update – CM transferred Rs 536.77 crore in cash aid to more then 3.57 lakh women
On September 16, the YSR Kapu Nestham project in Nidadavolu, East Godavari district, saw the disbursement of 536.77 crore in cash aid to more over 3.57 lakh women from the Kapu, Balija, Ontari, and Telaga communities. By pressing a button, the money was sent into individual accounts using the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) option. The recipients are people between the ages of 45 and 60, and each one receives 15,000 rupees in aid every year. Mr. Reddy asserted that out of the 2.06 lakh government jobs that have been filled in the previous four years, 9.5% are held by Kapu candidates.

YSR Kapu Nestham Scheme Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria while applying for the YSR scheme:-
- The permanent inhabitant of Andhra Pradesh state can profit from the plan benefits.
- Women applying for the scheme must have a place with the Kapu people group
- Up-and-comers who are going to apply ought to be aged between 45 to 60 years.
- The candidate must have a place with BPL
- The Family ought to have predefined salary measures.
