What is Swati Portal ?

Designed to represent Indian women and girls in STEMM sectors, this online platform was launched at the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) in New Delhi on the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. This is most likely the first interactive portal of its kind in the world. The portal states that it currently has 3000 “WiS Data Cards” and intends to expand. The SWATI portal significantly increases the number of Indian women in science across all fields and career stages, both in academia and industry. This will facilitate long-term, statistically significant research on issues related to diversity, equality, and inclusivity in India.
